2 stars in Copenhagen;

Finally we had Ramin Sharif and Omar Sharif who performed in Copenhagen on 23rd of dec. 2007. Again this concert was full house and completely sold out like all their other shows. Ramin and Omar performed several pieces from their most recent albums. Afghan2Afghan.com was proudly involved in this concert, but could not make an interview with Ramin and Omar due to their short visit.

Afghan2Afghan team wish Ramin and Omar best of luck and hope for further music performances in Denmark in near future.

Most of you can remember New Year evening, a concert with Farhad Darya in Los Angeles Ca. To refresh your memories, let me give a summery.

The summery:

On New Year’s Eve, the popular Afghan singer Farhad Darya fell ill and had to interrupt his concert in California. He was rushed to hospital where the doctors found remains of poison in his body
On 31 December 2005, Afghan singer Farhad Darya was giving a New Year’s Evening performance in front of a crowd of between 3,000 and 4,000 Afghans.

Two hours after the concert had started; promoters suddenly told the audience that the concert had to be cancelled, after Farhad Darya had left the stage.


Farhad Darya was rushed to hospital in an ambulance where the doctors found remains of poison in his body. He remained at the hospital for some hours.
